Jesus Salgado is fully certified in RSPA and PTR certification and brings 35 years of experience playing and teaching racquet sports. He teaches tennis, pickleball, and padel and after assuming the role as events coordinator in 2025, Jesus was promoted to racquet sports manager the following year. As a junior tennis player, Jesus competed for Milby High School in Houston, TX, achieving both district and regional playoff success. In 2002, right after graduating from Texas A & M, Jesus begin refining his coaching style and after three years on May 5, 2005, he opened Cinco Tennis Academy in Katy, TX. An innovative school with video analysis and has amassed an online library with over 1,500 files of student lesson tracking. Jesus applies his academy philosophy to the racquet sports department at the Houstonian: “Coaching is about relationships, and is about developing people who happen to be athletes”

Meet coach Jacob he is a fully certified RSPA teaching tennis professional. He gained a wealth of experience as the former Director of the K-ISD summer tennis program with 13 years of playing and coaching experience. He began his coaching career with the KISD summer district tennis camp program and quickly rose to the role of supervisor in his last two years with the district. Jacob has a love for spreading the growth of tennis and pickleball to the youth of the Katy area. Coach Jacob played varsity all 4 years of high school at Mayde Creek H.S. and was part of the Lone Star Cypress college team.
is a PCI certified professional whose racquet sports journey started in Colombian and continued to flourish in the United States. Sebastian brings 14 years of combined playing and coaching experience across tennis and pickleball.
While pursuing his bachelor’s degree at the University of Houston, Sebastian recognized a growing need for high-quality coaching and mentoring in the Katy area where he had previously competed in USTA junior tournaments while playing for Mayde Creek High School. This inspired him to launch his own tennis program in the spring of 2020, allowing him to give back to the racquet sports community that shaped his early development.
In 2025, Sebastian departed from the corporate world to pursue competing in the international pickleball circuit. Since then, he has earned singles and doubles titles across South America and the United States, reaching a top 100 singles ranking in South America and establishing himself as a respected international competitor.
As of 2026, coach Sebastian continues to compete and coach, bringing athletes the unique perspective of a coach who remains actively connected to high-level international play.
